Meet Louise

Certified Nutritional Therapy Expert

Growing up with lactose intolerance, I often felt afraid of food. The discomfort and uncertainty around my diet made me wary, and I struggled to find joy in eating. It was a challenge that followed me for many years, shaping my early relationship with food. My perspective changed when I began traveling the world. From Asia’s vibrant food markets to the colourful super foods in South and Central America, I discovered the true power of food. I realised that food was not an enemy—it was nourishment, culture, and a source of incredible vitality.

A few years later, I found myself in the fast-paced, high-stress environment of London, trying to balance a demanding job, having a social life and keeping fit, whilst coping with feelings of loneliness and missing home. It wasn't long before the relentless grind led to burnout. I felt drained, overwhelmed, and devoid of the energy and joy I once had. It was during this difficult time that I found nutritional therapy. The impact was profound. Through balanced nutrition and mindful lifestyle changes, I regained my energy, and rediscovered my happiness. I then enrolled in a nutritional therapy degree at UWL, so I could learn more.

Ultimately I decided London wasn’t the right city for me and I moved back to Bath, had a baby and was juggling being a single mum with working full time and studying. I reached burnout once more. Maintaining my health and nutrition became my lifeline. Through the integration of healthy habits and a focus on self-care, I learned to navigate these challenges with resilience and grace, ensuring that my well-being was no longer compromised.

Today, I bring all these experiences and insights into my practice as a nutritional therapist. I understand the struggles of dietary restrictions, the transformative nature of food, the reality of burnout, and the importance of sustainable healthy habits. My journey has equipped me with the empathy and expertise to help others, like you, navigate their own health journeys, empowering them to live vibrant, fulfilling lives.

The Consultation Process

Pre-Consultation

During an optional complimentary 20 minute phone or zoom call you will have the opportunity to discuss your health concerns and to ask any questions that you have. These are bookable online here. Alternatively, if you would rather book a consultation without a discovery call, then you can use the contact form here. Next you choose which package best suits your needs. Once your first consultation date is confirmed you will receive a questionnaire to fill in, which will cover your goals, current symptoms, medical and family history, lifestyle and diet. You will also receive a three day food diary to complete. This information will be used to create your personalised timeline and form the basis of your nutritional plan.

Initial Consultation

The initial consultation will last approximately 80 minutes. In this time we will discuss your health concerns in more detail and I will gather further information related to the questionnaire and food diary. Through this questioning I will investigate the main underlying imbalances that could be contributing to your symptoms. Whilst discussing my findings with you, I will provide an overview of my recommendations and explain any supplement or testing that I feel would be of benefit (at your own cost).

Post Consultation

You will receive your full personalised plan within 48 hours of the consultation, along with any information sheets or recipes to support you with implementing your plan over the following weeks. The first follow up appointment will be arranged based on individual needs, but normally 3-4 weeks after the initial consultation. In this session we will review progress with your goals/symptoms and discuss any other new relevant information. Recommendations will be re-evaluated and a new plan will be created. All follow up consultations offer accountability and support on the road to reaching your goals. How many follow up consultations you need will be different for everyone and depend on the reason for your visit.

Where to find me

My practice is based in Weston Village, Bath. I also offer video consultations and consultations in your home - contact me for more details.
